Something different to try. I keep the marinade in a plastic container in my refrigerator. I marinade them overnight before I grill them. Then I baste them with more of the marinade while they are cooking. Mmmm
Do you have a link to the recipe?
Chef Jacob... I really need rehab from this marinade!!! It is that good. When I use it for pork chops I make the dipping sauce too, for chicken I don't.

Awesome! Thanks for the link. Chef John is a total OG.
I'll have to give this one a shot.
So what's the other part of the recipe with the dijon and creme fraiche? Is that the dipping sauce? They don't do a very good job of explaining that.
OG? Yes the 8 ingredients below where the 2 10 ounce pork chops are listed is the dipping sauce.
Original Gangster or, in the Stella Culinary universe, Original Gastronome.
Chef Jacob... I marinate both the pork chops and chicken thighs over night in a zip-lock bag in the fridge. When I grill them I go low and slow until they get close to my desired temp. Then I turn the heat up and baste more of the marinade on the meat and let it caramelize the surface a little.
He is the best Chef on Allrecipes.com by far. I watch whatever he is up to.
I personally highly recommend it. It would work in your restaurant too I bet.
As a rule, I don't use other people's recipes in my restaurant, but I will give this a spin possibly this weekend if I decide to break out the grill.
Hmmm... Just tweak it a little bit and call it your own. Wink, wink. It's that good! Make it better.
Not my style. Come eat at Stella one day and you'll understand ...
Meeting you and dining with you is now on my bucket list.
Chef Jacob... Did you break out that grill and try this marinade?
No. Ended up grilling a tri-tip instead over at my dad's house. Played a round of golf, sat in the hot tub ... all around good day.
Judging by your other post, looks like you had an awesome father's day as well.
Sounds like you had a great weekend. A round of golf is good for a mans soul.
