Description
This is one of most versatile Asian sauces we use here at Stella. It is great to add a citrus-soy sweet flavor to a number of ingredients.
Ingredients
5 c
Sugar 2 c
Soy Sauce 1 c
Rice Wine Vinegar 1 c
Mirin 1
Oranges (juiced and zested)Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a medium sauce pot. Simmer for 45 minutes.
Notes
Be careful to keep your heat on a low simmer. If the heat is too high you will run the risk of over flowing and you will have a big sticky mess on your hands.
